Girard-Perregaux Ferrari F1 053 World Time Chronograph Automatic Ref. 49800
£4,995
There have been other watch manufacturers associated with Ferrari but none more symbiotic than the Swiss manufacturer, Girard Perregaux. Between 1994 and 2004, Girard Perregaux’s partnership with Ferrari produced a remarkable collection of sport and grand complication models each with technical or aesthetic links to the Maranello-based brand. One of the techniques G-P used to define the pieces was to relate the design to a specific vehicle. The watch here is the highly-regarded World Wide Time Control Chronograph Date with a black carbon-fibre dial signed F1 053 which refers to the Ferrari V10 engine that won the FIA Formula 1 world championship in 2004 with Michael Schumacher at the wheel. The in-house manufacture 12 hour fly-back chronograph with world time function, day/night indicator and date is one of the iconic movements in modern horology. We believe that only 100 F1 053 watches were made in titanium and ours is supplied in excellent condition with GP box & papers and 12 month warranty.
