What can we say about this stunning, highly collectable wristwatch? It’s one of the grail pieces for Patek collectors: The ref.3417 ‘Amagnétique’ with a 35mm stainless steel case. Featuring the famous 18 jewel, 27-AM 400 manual wind calibre and the soft iron cage is present and correct. The silver dial is double-signed: Patek Philippe Geneve and Hausmann & Co. (an Italian authorised Patek Phillipe retailer, still in business today!) Caseback denotes ref. 3417 and case no.2633152. Presented in a black Patek Philippe box and comes with its original certificate of origin confirming the matching movement number, 732859 which dates the watch to c.1965/66. Presented on a Lic-branded grey leather strap and stainless steel pin buckle.
