Vintage Patek Philippe Ref. 507, 18ct White and Rose Gold Case, 1929
£9,000
In the 1920s and 30s, Patek Philippe experimented with avant-garde case designs and we are delighted to offer this very fine and rare Ref. 507 in an 18ct rose and white gold case with manual wind movement. The case is formed with hooded lugs in two tone gold which gives a striking appearance to the petite 28mm case. The PP Archive Extract confims the manufacture of the watch in 1929, and sold on 14 December 1937. The black dial signed with the original Patek Philippe & Co. logo has applied gilt dot markers and baton quarters, outer dot minute markers, gilt lozenge hands, subsidiary seconds at 6, polished round case with snap on back, alternating bi-color lugs, fitted with a PP supplied leather strap with 18ct gold Patek Philippe buckle. This elegant timepiece is supplied with a Patek service document dated 2015 confirming model and serial number and comes with an unworn, PP black crocodile leather strap and PP signed 18ct gold buckle.
